Dynamics of an Entry
This investigation involved an experiment where the entrance to the site transformed a 3d lattice of the site’s volume into a dynamic state. Conventional habitation program was divided into soft and hard spaces. Hard spaces are those with standard conditions such as services while soft are those with much more flexibility. Degrees of affection were also established depending on the type of “function”. A string with the most public space (entrance) at one end and most private (artist’s studio) at the other was also applied as a tertiary rule.
